Procurement Manager

About the role

360 Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our client's team based in Gregory Hills.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage procurement activities across civil construction projects
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing and commercial agreements
• Obtain competitive quotations and ensure value for money
• Monitor procurement costs, budgets and project requirements
• Coordinate the timely supply of materials, plant, equipment and services
• Review supplier and subcontractor performance
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Work closely with estimators, project managers and site teams

About you

• Previous experience in procurement management within civil construction
• Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, plant, subcontractors and suppliers
• Experience working with council or local government projects is highly regarded
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Excellent supplier relationship management capability
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and cost control
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills
• A proactive, commercially minded and solutions-focused approach
