Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Procurement Manager to lead and manage the company’s procurement activities for events, tents, construction, fit-out, and project operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization, negotiations, and ensuring the timely availability of materials and services required for project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement process from material requirement and supplier sourcing to purchase order and delivery.
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and ensure timely project execution.
• Source, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for tents, steel structures, fabric, construction materials, fit-out, event materials, and related services.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Coordinate closely with Projects, Production, Warehouse, Finance, and Site Teams to ensure procurement requirements are met on time.
• Monitor purchase orders, supplier performance, delivery schedules, and outstanding requirements.
• Identify and resolve procurement issues such as delays, shortages, quality concerns, and supplier disputes.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, alternative materials, and cost-effective purchasing opportunities.
• Develop and maintain an approved supplier database and regularly evaluate supplier performance.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, approved budgets, and project specifications.
• Review procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Prepare and submit procurement reports, cost analysis, supplier evaluations, and purchasing forecasts to management.
• Supervise and guide procurement staff and ensure efficient workflow within the procurement department.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing, preferably in a managerial or senior procurement role.
• Experience in construction, events, tents, steel fabrication, fit-out, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and vendor management.
• Excellent negotiation and cost-control skills.
• Good knowledge of construction, event, and project-related materials.
• Strong ability to manage multiple suppliers and urgent project requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
• Good English communication skills.
• Candidates must be available in Dubai, UAE.
• Must have a valid UAE driving license and own a car.
