Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of Coal, Coke, Scrap, DRI/HBI, Pig Iron, Ferro Alloys & Silico Manganese, and other materials for steel manufacturing
• Develop and maintain strong supplier, trader, and market networks
• Monitor raw material prices, quality, availability, freight, and market trends
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials to support uninterrupted production
• Develop new suppliers and drive cost optimization
• Coordinate with Plant, Production, Quality, Stores, Finance and Logistics teams
• Monitor supplier performance and prepare procurement MIS
• Candidate Profile
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in Raw Material Procurement
• Experience in TMT / Steel / Iron & Steel / Heavy Manufacturing preferred
• Strong supplier and market network for steel-making raw materials
• Graduate / MBA / PGDM in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Materials Management preferred
• Excellent negotiation, commercial, and vendor-management skills
• Strong knowledge of Eastern India raw material markets preferred
