Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry and a proven track record in procurement and supply chain management. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services required for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing of materials, services, and equipment.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best prices and quality.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring performance, quality, and delivery expectations are met.
• Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and innovations in construction materials and methods.
• Oversee the procurement process from requisition to purchase order and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the project management team to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience in procurement within the construction industry.
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
