Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Lead end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchasing across multiple categories.
• Manage vendor contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
• Oversee procurement management systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and E-procurement platforms to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, logistics, finance, and project teams to support production planning and supply chain management initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis for procurement challenges and implement corrective actions to optimize supply chain performance.
• Ensure adherence to procurement regulatory standards including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) where applicable, and maintain comprehensive contract management records.

Skills

• Extensive experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other e-procurement tools for efficient procurement operations.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and strategic sourcing within manufacturing or public sector environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations including FAR and industry standards for federal or government contracts.
• Skilled in supply chain management principles encompassing logistics, materials management, production planning, and quality assurance.
• Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective negotiation skills combined with the ability to build lasting supplier relationships through strategic category management.
• Proficiency in procurement category management, sourcing strategies, pricing analysis, and supply chain optimization techniques.

Pay: From $65.69 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 17.0 per week
