Procurement Manager

About the role

This role involves developing and executing procurement strategies to support business objectives and ensure supply continuity. You will lead supplier selection, sourcing activities, and commercial negotiations to achieve best value, quality, and service. You will drive cost-saving initiatives, productivity improvements, and total cost optimization while building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and monitoring their performance in quality, delivery, and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to support business objectives and ensure supply continuity
• Lead supplier selection, sourcing activities, and commercial negotiations to achieve best value, quality, and service
• Drive cost-saving initiatives, productivity improvements, and total cost optimization
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while monitoring performance in quality, delivery, and cost
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through supplier development, alternative sourcing, and contingency planning
• Ensure supplier compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and business requirements
• Optimize inventory levels and purchasing processes to support operational efficiency and working capital targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Planning, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics
• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team while driving continuous improvement and accountability

About you

• BS/BA required; preferably in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management (MBA a plus)
• 8 years of purchasing operations experience with an international supply chain network
• Product and commodity knowledge
• Purchasing and contracts expertise
• Production scheduling knowledge
• Supply chain management experience
• Inventory management and material planning skills
