Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of engineering products, components, raw materials, consumables, and services.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies based on production, project, and business requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for engineering materials.
• Source materials based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical specifications.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Float RFQs, compare quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize suppliers.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Production, PPC, Stores, Quality, Engineering, Accounts, and Projects for procurement requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, quality issues, and pending orders.
• Handle price negotiations, cost reduction, and alternate vendor development.
• Ensure procurement is aligned with approved budgets and inventory requirements.
• Manage critical and urgent procurement requirements to avoid production delays.
• Review purchase trends and maintain appropriate vendor and procurement records.
• Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, quantity, pricing, documentation, and delivery.
• Develop alternate sources for critical engineering components to reduce supply risks.
• Conduct periodic vendor evaluation and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes.
• Use ERP systems for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier records, and procurement tracking.
• Prepare and share MIS reports related to purchase value, pending orders, savings, vendor performance, and material availability.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of engineering and manufacturing procurement.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and engineering components.
• Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings.
• Good knowledge of RFQ, quotation comparison, PO, GRN, and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical and cost-control skills.
• Good knowledge of ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and deadlines.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
