About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished and proactive Procurement Manager based in Medan to join our team. The Manager is responsible to manage a team of 18-20 operational procurement team members and to lead process and organization improvements for Indonesia entities under Mewah Group.

He/ She is responsible to lead country procurement activities. To develop, implement procurement strategy and to drive department cost saving efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily procurement and operational activities for the designated section.
• Oversee and monitor team performance, aligning goals with department Key Performance Parameters (KPP).
• Foster effective communication with internal, external, and local/regional stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Analyze, monitor, and manage material cost drivers, key input costs, index movements, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
• Provide professional support to the team, including coaching, goal-setting, skill development evaluation, and talent development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, demonstrating successful leadership in managing multiple companies or business units.
• Min Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Having min 10 years’ experience working as Procurement in Palm Oil Industry or Food Manufacturing
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze material cost drivers, market trends, and key input costs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
