Procurement Manager

About the Role

The ideal candidate has proven experience in procurement management or a related field, with a deep understanding of purchasing processes and procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build productive relationships with vendors and internal teams. You’ll thrive if you’re able to manage competing priorities, lead initiatives, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all procurement inquiries, requests, and orders
• Review and approve requisitions and purchase orders for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies
• Research, evaluate, and qualify potential vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms and partnerships
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service-level agreements on behalf of the company
• Issue purchase orders to approved vendors and oversee the procurement cycle from request to fulfillment
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual compliance
• Maintain accurate vendor records and supplier databases
• Resolve procurement issues and discrepancies promptly and professionally
• Oversee invoice processing and payment approvals in line with company policies
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize procurement efficiency and reduce costs
• Stay current on industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and process improvements

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of procurement experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience within the Design or Construction industries

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD or Blue Beam
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Design, or related field
