Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

1. Ability to monitor purchase requisitions and resolve procurement issues of the company based on company standards.

2. Oversees the purchase requisitions from the different departments to assign to the buyers to initiate canvassing for the quality, cost, and delivery standards.

3)Coordinates procurement matters with other parties, i.e weekly and monthly progress reports.

4. Resolves procurement issues i.e. revision of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract agreements if needed.

5. Negotiates with suppliers for quality, cost, and delivery specifications.

6. Oversees compliance with the procurement SOPs, i.e. canvassing and price comparison standard

7. Approval of the purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract agreements. Provide all the Procurement support to the relevant office/division following the Procurement procedure.

8. Handle the Request for Quotations (RFQ) processes for the division and relevant categories.

9. Participate actively in the supplier’s selection and undertake performance reviews.

10. Negotiating transactions and contracts with suppliers to make business savings (under supervision of Procurement Manager)

11. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

12. Ensures the efficient and effective management of procurement procedure of the company based on quality, cost, and delivery standards.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:

a) Relevant Manufacturing or Engineering Degree preferred.

b) Procurement/ Logistics / Supply Chain Management

c) 10 years minimum experience in Procurement/ Logistics / Supply Chain Management in Railways

d) Computer literate (Google sheet/Excel, Google docs/Word) with speed and accuracy.

e) Familiar with ERP system software (for future) is an advantage.

f) Good communications skills

g) Good negotiations skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php85,000.00 per month
