Our client is a global pharmaceutical company undergoing an exciting period of expansion. With operations across multiple international markets, the organisation develops and supplies a portfolio of pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers worldwide.

We are looking for a Procurement & Partnership Manager based in Paris to oversee the company's external manufacturing network. The successful candidate will develop and manage strategic relationships with CMOs and CDMOs, helping to optimise network performance, deliver cost efficiencies and support scalable business growth.

You will play a key role in ensuring alignment across functions such as Procurement, Quality and more while managing the entire lifecycle of external manufacturing partnerships.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the operational management of external manufacturing partners (CMOs/CDMOs) across the global network
• Monitor manufacturing performance and service levels
• Search for, develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key manufacturing partners
• Identify opportunities to improve flexibility, responsiveness, and operational performance across the network
• Partner with other functions on contract management and commercial negotiations
• Ensure clear governance processes and escalation pathways are established

Requirements and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 6–12+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or External Manufacturing management.
• Significant experience working with CMOs/CDMOs in pharmaceutical, biotech.
• Solid understanding of Supply Chain planning and manufacturing processes
• Experience with capacity management and supply risk mitigation
• Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements and regulated environments
• Familiarity with ERP and Supply Chain systems
• Exposure to global manufacturing and international supply networks preferred
• Based in Paris (3 days in office) and open to travel up to 25% of the time

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent negotiation and influencing capabilities without authority
• Ability to operate effectively in a highly cross-functional and matrix environment
• Experience with supplier performance management and KPI governance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Languages

• Fluent in French & English
