Our client is a leading Japanese manufacturer in the automotive tire and rubber products industry, operating a production facility in Rayong. The company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager / Senior Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier development, commercial negotiations, and cost-optimisation initiatives across key purchasing categories.

Job Summary

Lead and manage sourcing strategies for raw materials, compounding materials, sub-materials, machinery parts, and maintenance-related categories. Develop local and regional suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, control procurement performance, and ensure reliable supply, competitive cost, quality, and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, compounding materials, sub-materials, machinery parts, and maintenance-related categories.
• Identify, assess, and develop capable local and regional suppliers in Thailand and ASEAN.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier benchmarking, price comparison, and commercial negotiations.
• Work with technical, production, quality, and finance teams to evaluate supplier capability, validate specifications, and calculate total cost.
• Improve supplier portfolio, contract conditions, payment terms, lead time, inventory conditions, and service levels.
• Support Design-to-Cost initiatives by providing supplier market intelligence, material price benchmarks, and alternative sourcing options.
• Establish supplier management routines, including performance reviews, risk monitoring, and cost-reduction pipeline management.
• Manage procurement projects and report progress, savings, risks, and key sourcing decisions to management.
