We are now seeking a full-time Manager - Procurement to join our team in GFS - Global Freight Services (An a ffiliate of Li & Fung ) .

What you'll do is to ........

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES -

• Procure & negotiate costs with suppliers (AIR, SEA, Ground) to match customer’s target rate & requirements.
• Analyze & strategize trade lane & product to focus on aligning with market situation and company direction.
• Manage supplier pool list to understand product/market specialists where we can map customer requirements for profit maximization.
• Create connections and develop relationships with key suppliers.
• Closely coordinate with Sales with mutual goal to achieve TEAM target. Activate weekly meetings with fruitful market intelligence sharing, follow up feedback from cost-work, join sale visits to high potential accounts, etc.
• Push/Pull with oversea network to manage rate inquiry + sale leads till closing sale process.
• Actively update market news to all stakeholders for new service launch, price trend, space & equipment status, peak/slack season, rate promotion for that time being, etc.
• Work with management & Business Development team for strategy related to product and sales to achieve company budget.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Professional Qualification

• Diploma, Degree or higher in Business Management, Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or a related field (preferred).

Professional Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Proven track record in business development and account management within integrated supply chain solutions, with deep expertise in freight services (air, sea, road).
• Experience working with senior-level stakeholders and key customers to design and sell logistics/freight products.

Core Skills & Knowledge

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers at senior management levels.
• Excellent negotiation and value-based selling capabilities; able to articulate product value and differentiate offerings in a competitive market.
• Demonstrated ability to persuade, motivate, and influence internal teams and external partners to drive product adoption and growth.
• Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with data, reports, and presentations to support product decisions.
• Solid understanding of freight management, import/export operations, and local customs
• requirements.
• Familiarity with end-to-end supply chain processes and how freight products integrate into broader logistics solutions.

Role Focus

• Define and manage the freight product portfolio (services, pricing, value propositions).
• Work closely with sales, operations, and key accounts to align product offerings with market needs.
• Support business development by providing product expertise, proposals, and solution design for integrated supply chain opportunities.
• Ensure products comply with regulatory and customs requirements and remain competitive in the Thailand freight market.
