Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will oversee end‑to‑end procurement operations, ensuring timely sourcing, vendor management, and compliance with company standards. The role requires strong negotiation skills, ERP knowledge, and the ability to manage supplier relationships while optimizing cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for chemicals, scientific products, and related materials.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and lead times to ensure cost‑effective procurement.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
• Ensure timely availability of products by coordinating with suppliers and warehouse teams.
• Manage purchase orders (POs), sales orders (SOs), and documentation (COA, MSDS, regulatory compliance).
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities in ERP systems.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and quality teams for smooth workflow.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports and escalate delays or risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and vendor relationships.
• Able to work with warehouse and logistics operations to ensure smooth inventory movement and timely deliveries.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in life sciences, chemicals, or pharma industry.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and procurement workflows.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and ensure timely delivery.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (COA, MSDS, shelf life, compliance).
