Procurement Manager

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals and operational needs
• Oversee purchasing of materials, equipment, supplies, and services, reviewing requisitions against policy and budget
• Identify, qualify, and select suppliers, and monitor quality, delivery, pricing, and compliance
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules, and track compliance and renewals
• Monitors spend against budget and drive cost-reduction and cost-avoidance initiatives
• Partner with operations and warehouse teams to right-size inventory and anticipate shortages or disruptions
• Identify supply chain risks, put mitigation plans in place, and keep procurement records accurate and compliant
• Lead, coach, and develop procurement staff around clear expectations and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Experience with contracts, sales, and procurement
• Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to protect supplier relationships
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of purchasing and supplier management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proven cost-reduction results preferred
