Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on project requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications. Cost Management: Work closely with project management and finance teams to control costs and optimize procurement budgets. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that procured materials and services meet project standards and specifications. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to ensure uninterrupted project progress. Compliance: Stay abreast of local and international regulations related to procurement and ensure adherence to legal requirements. Reporting: Generate and analyze procurement-related reports for project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on procurement progress. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand procurement needs and incorporate them into project plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master s degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the construction industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
