Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction projects.
• Manage sourcing and purchasing of construction materials, equipment, tools, and consumables.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, planning, stores, and finance teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements at project sites.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approved budgets, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Prepare cost comparisons, analyse market trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and an approved supplier database.
• Handle vendor performance evaluation, payment coordination, and resolution of supply-related issues.
• Ensure proper documentation, purchase records, and compliance with applicable procurement procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, negotiation, and cost control.
• Experience in ERP systems, MS Excel, purchase order management, and inventory coordination.
• Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and team management skills.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
