Procurement Manager – Construction & Development (Lombok)

Baraca Development, part of Baraca Capital, builds residential and hospitality projects in Lombok, including Tampah Beach Villas. We are growing fast and are hiring three Procurement Managers to work on-site in Lombok.

About the role

You will own the purchasing of materials and services for our construction projects, from sourcing and negotiation to delivery on site. You will make sure our projects get the right materials, at the right price, at the right time.

What you will do

• Source, compare, and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials such as cement, concrete, steel and rebar, sand and aggregates, timber, roofing, bricks and blocks, tiles, and MEP materials
• Build and manage a reliable supplier network in Lombok, Bali, and wider Indonesia
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, quotations, and supplier contracts
• Work closely with project managers and engineers to plan material needs against the construction schedule
• Control costs and track spending against project budgets
• Check quality and quantities of deliveries on site and resolve supplier issues quickly
• Keep clear records of prices, suppliers, and deliveries, and report to management

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in construction or property development
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and market prices in Indonesia
• An existing network of suppliers, ideally long-standing relationships with cement, steel, and building material suppliers that we can leverage
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
• Based in Lombok, or willing to relocate and work on-site in Lombok full time
• Good spoken and written English; Bahasa Indonesia is required
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic procurement tools
