Procurement Manager (Construction)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Procurement Manager to lead sourcing, supplier management, and procurement activities for Data Center EPC projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, equipment, and services while supporting multiple fast-paced projects in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for Data Center EPC projects.
• Source, evaluate, and manage local and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliable delivery.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, including commercial negotiations, bid evaluations, and contract awards.
• Manage the procurement of labor services, materials, and equipment to support project timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee import/export activities, customs clearance, logistics coordination, and insurance matters.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen supplier relationships while monitoring vendor performance.
• Conduct cost analyses, market assessments, and risk evaluations to optimize procurement outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Legal, Project Management, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide regular procurement updates, reports, and recommendations to management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes and supply chain operations.
• Attend meetings with legal teams, engineering teams, vendors, and suppliers as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within Data Center, EPC, Construction, Engineering, or M&E environments.
• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and import/export operations.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects effectively under tight timelines.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for communication with regional suppliers.
• Hands-on, resourceful, results-oriented, and highly accountable.
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to achieving business objectives.
