Procurement Manager (Engineering)

Key responsibilities

• Oversee procurement operations and back-office workflows, including PO/WO review, RFQ-to-PO supervision, supplier onboarding, system upkeep, issue resolution, and policy/approval compliance.
• Standardise procurement processes and governance across business units while retaining flexibility for project and operational needs.
• Lead procurement/ERP system enhancements from requirements and UAT through training, defect resolution, communication, and post-go-live support.
• Act as the main liaison for internal users and suppliers on process and system matters, including adoption, training, and platform connectivity.
• Manage vendor performance and commercial support, including service reviews, contract compliance, issue escalation, price/SLA discussions, and cost or rebate opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years’ experience in procurement operations, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in engineering, manufacturing, construction, or project-based environments.
• Strong working knowledge of RFQ/PO/WO processes, supplier onboarding, approval workflows, vendor coordination, and procurement controls.
• Proven skills in stakeholder management, vendor management, negotiation, and resolving operational issues.
• Fluent English and Chinese, with strong Microsoft Office skills; ERP, procurement systems, WMS, or Power BI experience preferred.
