Procurement Manager – High-Rise Construction

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a Main Contracting company in Dubai.

The candidate must have strong UAE construction procurement experience and proven experience working on high-rise / tower projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete procurement cycle for construction materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
• Prepare and review RFQs, quotations, technical comparisons, and commercial comparison sheets.
• Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual terms.
• Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, BOQ, drawings, and approved material submittals.
• Coordinate with Project, Technical, QS, Planning, Finance, and Site teams.
• Monitor procurement schedules, long-lead items, material deliveries, and pending requirements.
• Maintain and develop the approved supplier and subcontractor database.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing, and delivery.
• Manage procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Manage and supervise the Procurement team.
• Ensure proper documentation of quotations, approvals, LPOs/POs, contracts, and deliveries.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of construction procurement experience.
• Strong UAE construction procurement experience – Mandatory.
• Must have worked directly for a UAE Main Contractor – Mandatory.
• Must have proven experience in high-rise / tower projects above 20 floors – Mandatory.
• Strong experience in construction materials and subcontract procurement.
• Strong experience in RFQs, technical and commercial comparisons, negotiations, and POs.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, project specifications, drawings, and material submittals.
• Experience managing long-lead procurement items.
• Experience managing or supervising a Procurement team.
• Must currently be based in the UAE.

Important:
Candidates without UAE Main Contractor experience and high-rise / tower project experience above 20 floors will not be considered.
