Role Overview:

The Procurement Manager – International Sourcing is responsible for overseeing Yong Seng Musical’s international procurement and supplier coordination activities across musical instruments, professional audio equipment, pianos, and related product categories.

This role plays a key part in managing supplier relationships, procurement planning, pricing negotiations, shipment coordination, and inventory flow to support the company’s commercial and operational objectives. The position works closely with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, sales teams, finance, and warehouse operations to ensure efficient purchasing processes and reliable product availability.

The ideal candidate should possess strong procurement capabilities, commercial awareness, and a good understanding of international trade and import coordination processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead procurement and international sourcing activities to support business requirements and inventory planning.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas suppliers and brand partners.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, shipment schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers.

• Coordinate purchase orders, shipment schedules, and product delivery timelines.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure smooth import and shipping processes.

• Monitor inventory levels, incoming shipments, back orders, and product availability.

• Review procurement-related documents including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.

• Work closely with sales, integrated marketing, business unit, warehouse, and finance & accounting teams to support operational efficiency.

• Analyze procurement costs, lead times, and supplier performance to improve overall supply chain efficiency.

• Support forecasting, procurement planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.

• Resolve supplier, shipment, or product-related issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Prepare procurement reports and provide data-driven insights to management. Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Music Business or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, international purchasing, or import coordination, with experience coordinating with freight forwarders and logistics partners.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

• Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.

• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.

• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.

• Proficiency in English communication (spoken and written).
