Job Description Lead strategic sourcing and category management activities for Facilities and indirect procurement categories, including construction fit-out, maintenance, security, cleaning, cafeteria, and landscaping services.

Develop and execute category strategies, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, cash flow improvement, and overall business value.

Manage end-to-end procurement processes from requirement gathering, supplier engagement, RFQ/RFP management, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.

Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and managing terms and conditions in collaboration with legal teams.

Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR, Engineering, Facilities, and Procurement to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives.

Identify and implement process improvements, procurement best practices, KPIs, SLAs, and sourcing tools to enhance procurement effectiveness.

Act as a key liaison between local operations and global procurement teams, managing supplier relationships and supporting regional procurement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment, including Facilities and MRO sourcing.

Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, contract negotiation, vendor management, and commercial agreements.

Proven experience managing complex supplier relationships, service contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and outsourcing arrangements.

Fluent communication skills in both Japanese (JLPT N1) and English, with strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.
