Procurement Manager (M&E Construction)

About the Company

We are an established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

·       Lead and manage the procurement function for all M&E projects.

·       Source, evaluate, negotiate, and appoint suppliers and subcontractors.

·       Procure M&E materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

·       Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

·       Coordinate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure procurement schedules meet project timelines.

·       Monitor material delivery status and resolve procurement-related issues promptly.

·       Review quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.

·       Monitor procurement budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.

·       Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.

·       Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare procurement reports for management.

Requirements

·       Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the M&E or construction industry.

·       Strong knowledge of M&E materials, equipment, and construction procurement processes.

·       Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.

·       Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/procurement systems.

·       Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience handling large-scale commercial, industrial, or high-rise building projects.

·       Established network of M&E suppliers and subcontractors.

·       Knowledge of contract administration and procurement best practices.
