Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Industrial
• Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with 5 years in a senior leadership or executive role.
• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical, or hospital industry
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, vendor negotiations, inventory management, and strategic sourcing.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial and budget management capabilities.
• Proficient in ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to lead the company's sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and compliant procurement of operational requirements. In this role, you will manage supplier partnerships, negotiate contracts, oversee procurement processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's procurement and purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead and manage the Purchasing Department, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous process improvement.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and business partners.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and service agreements to achieve the best value for the company.
• Ensure the timely procurement of medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, office supplies, and other operational requirements.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop procurement policies, standard operating procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, and other departments to forecast purchasing needs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Oversee supplier accreditation, evaluation, and performance management.
• Manage procurement budgets and monitor purchasing expenditures.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply disruptions and vendor-related issues.
• Stay current with application development practices, technologies, and available vendor solutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable security, operational, and regulatory requirements.
