Procurement Manager / Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven Procurement Manager / Supervisor to oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, control purchasing costs, and ensure the timely delivery of quality materials and services. The successful candidate will optimize procurement processes, negotiate competitive terms, and work closely with internal departments to support the company's operational and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to improve purchasing efficiency and cost control.
• Manage sourcing, supplier selection, quotation evaluation, purchase orders, and delivery follow-up.
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts.
• Review purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with company policies and budgets.
• Monitor supplier performance, product quality, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Conduct market research and price comparisons to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, production, and finance departments to ensure timely procurement and proper inventory management.
• Monitor stock levels, purchasing expenses, and material requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, supplier databases, and contracts.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and performance updates for management.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, internal controls, and relevant regulations.
• Supervise procurement team members and monitor their performance where applicable.
• Resolve supply issues and minimize procurement delays and operational disruptions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Supervisory or managerial experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier management, inventory control, and cost optimization.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate quotations and make cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with ERP or procurement systems.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
