WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: Build Your Career on Our Standalone Transformation ).

In this role you will:

• Continuously improve procurement master data principles, structures, classifications, and processes to support business needs and the evolving procurement operating model.
• Contribute procurement master data expertise to transformation, digitalization, and organizational initiatives, translating business needs into practical and sustainable solutions.
• Promote the harmonization, standardization, and governance of procurement master data processes across units.
• Translate business needs and recurring operational challenges into clear requirements for process, data, and system improvements.
• Coordinate master data and process enhancements in collaboration with Procurement, Shared Service Organizations, Process Owners, System Owners, and other stakeholders.
• Act as the central business contact and subject-matter expert for procurement master data, advising stakeholders on processes, standards, responsibilities, and service interfaces.
• Monitor procurement master data quality, identify systemic weaknesses, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Take ownership of complex requests, exceptions, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and addressing underlying root causes.
• Support testing, deployment, adoption, and change activities for relevant process and system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain fit-for-purpose process documentation, work instructions, training materials, and user guidance.

WHAT YOU OFFER

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Information Management, or a related field
• Experience in procurement master data management, process management, or procurement operations
• Good understanding of ERP systems and procurement-related business processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail and data quality
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into practical and efficient solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across different organizational levels
• Experience working in an international and cross-functional environment
• Structured, proactive, and service-oriented working style combined with strong ownership
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to challenge existing ways of working
• Proficiency in English
