Procurement Officer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage overseas purchasing, supplier negotiations, and importation activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials while maintaining compliance with import regulations and supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with international suppliers to secure quality products at competitive prices.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders based on operational and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely shipment arrivals.
• Process and review import documents, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, BL/AWB, and Certificates of Origin.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, permits, and import requirements.
• Resolve supplier, delivery, quantity, and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, supplier performance, and import transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement and importation.
• Strong knowledge of import procedures, customs documentation, and Incoterms.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an advantage.
