Procurement Officer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards
• Proficiency in procurement systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain vendor relationships
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple purchase orders and priorities simultaneously
• Understanding of supply chain management principles and cost control methodologies
• Knowledge of procurement regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical purchasing practices
• Professional certification such as Certified Professional in Procurement (CPP) or Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (APICS/ASCM) is preferred
