Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end procurement activities including product sourcing, preparing purchase orders and price negotiation with suppliers;
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services;
• Maintain an up-to-date purchasing database and filing system;
• Handle purchasing enquiries and all incoming/outgoing correspondence with, suppliers and internal teams;
• Work closely with suppliers and site teams on order follow-up and delivery schedules; and
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience in the construction or engineering industry;
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, suppliers and contracting;
• Proven ability to manage purchasing processes, negotiate effectively and optimize costs;
• Excellent communication, vendor‑management and documentation skills;
• Strong attention to details;
• Proficient in MS Office;
• Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered an advantage; and
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
