Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to manage end-to-end procurement activities, supplier relationships, purchase orders, inventory coordination, and import documentation while ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and services.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process from PR preparation, supplier quotations, approvals, PO creation, GRN, and payment follow-up.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers locally and internationally.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Procure raw materials, spare parts, equipment, and services based on business requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, Finance, and other departments.
• Monitor inventory requirements and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Review quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate imports, shipments, customs clearance, and delivery to the warehouse.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with NAFDAC, SONCAP, Form M, PAAR, Customs, and other import requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement and import records for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

• HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–4 years’ procurement experience, preferably within FMCG/manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, negotiation, and inventory coordination
• Experience with local and international sourcing/import procurement.
• Knowledge of Nigerian import procedures and documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.
