Procurement Officer

About the Role: Rosymax Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage our supply chain. The ideal candidate will ensure that our pharmacy is always stocked with high-quality medications and products at the best prices, maintaining strong relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and general store inventory.
• Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking (inventory control).
• Verify the quality and expiration dates of all incoming goods to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Analyze market trends to anticipate price changes or shortages in essential medications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or inventory management (experience in a pharmacy setting is a strong plus).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and drug categories.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
