Procurement Officer

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our team, driving strategic sourcing, managing key supplier relationships, and ensuring the seamless delivery of essential materials and services that uphold Indonesia Defence Services’ commitment to excellence in supporting national defence.

Job Description:

• Identify, sourcing, and select reliable suppliers based on the materials and services requirement.
• Conduct supplier performance review.
• Prepare and process purchase request and purchase orders.
• Negotiate prices, terms and conditions to achieve optimal benefit for the company.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services in accordance to project timeline.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortage.
• Uphold strict compliance with our procurement policies and procedures.
• Oversee warranty claims process to maintain service quality.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for audit purposes.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in any field; a degree in Engineering or a related field would be a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, quotation comparison, negotiation, and purchase order management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Able to manage procurement documents and maintain accurate purchasing records.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with other related teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.
