Procurement Officer

The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for overseeing the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management processes to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects. The role involves supplier negotiations, contract management, procurement planning, and ensuring compliance with company policies and project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement process for construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
• Source, evaluate, and accredit suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to achieve the best value for the company
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO), Job Orders (JO), and procurement-related documents
• Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely availability of materials
• Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance regularly
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and company standards
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, warehouse, and project management teams regarding procurement requirements
• Monitor procurement budgets and prepare procurement reports and documentation
• Assist in resolving supplier issues, delivery delays, and material discrepancies
• Support management in strategic sourcing and procurement planning initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong background in vendor management, sourcing, and contract negotiation
• Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage
• Knowledgeable in construction materials and procurement processes
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
