Procurement Officer

Aviworks is looking for a motivated and responsible Procurement Officer to join our team in KK Nagar, Trichy. The role involves handling international procurement activities, communicating with overseas suppliers, coordinating quotations, and supporting day-to-day purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source products and suppliers based on customer requirements.
• Communicate with international suppliers through email, phone, and online platforms.
• Request and compare quotations, pricing, lead times, and availability.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders and procurement requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding order status, shipping, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of customer requirements.
• Handle multiple procurement requests and follow up with suppliers until completion.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree / Any Degree from a recognized institution.
• Good written and spoken English communication is mandatory.
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook/email.
• Ability to communicate professionally with international suppliers.
• Good follow-up and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in procurement, international trading, import/export, aviation, logistics, or a related field will be an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn may also apply.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with international suppliers. The candidate should be willing to learn international procurement and trading processes.

Salary: Based on experience and qualifications

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
