Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners to secure the best pricing and terms.
• Purchasing Operations: Review purchase requisitions, issue Purchase Orders (POs), and manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for administrative supplies, equipment, and project-specific materials.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable contract terms, pricing, payment schedules, and delivery timelines with suppliers to maximize cost savings and efficiency.
• Market Research & Analysis: Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor offerings to make informed purchasing recommendations.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and budgetary guidelines; maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, invoices, and contracts.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance, or a related field. (Professional certifications like CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent are a strong plus).
• Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
