Client: Multinational financial institution (Insurance)

Position Overview

We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to oversee full-lifecycle sourcing, purchasing, and vendor governance across our insurance operations. In this role, you will execute end-to-end Source-to-Contract (S2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Legal, Finance, and Operations to uphold commercial standards and process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Contracting: Guide vendor selection from initial scoping through market evaluations to final contract execution. Maintain complete documentation for sourcing milestones, vendor assessments, and approval workflows.
• Purchasing & Financial Governance: Facilitate the accurate conversion of business demands into purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Validate PO compliance against budgets, verify payment requests, and partner with Finance to resolve invoicing or receipt discrepancies.
• Spend Monitoring: Audit expenditures against approved contracts and purchase orders, identifying financial deviations and bringing key control issues to leadership.
• Contract Administration & Vendor Relations: Manage the central contract database, tracking renewals, terms, and key milestones. Process contract amendments, extensions, and terminations in line with internal frameworks, serving as a primary point for vendor operational queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; CIPS accreditation or related professional certification is a plus.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, strategic sourcing, or enterprise purchasing.
• Hands-on experience navigating both S2C and P2P cycles, including PO generation, invoice matching, and compliance enforcement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and enterprise e-procurement software (such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, or equivalent platforms) is a plus
• Strong analytical capability, excellent stakeholder management, and high organization to handle multiple concurrent purchasing activities under tight timelines.
