Procurement Officer

Fixen Technical Services L.L.C. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer specializing in Maintenance and Fit-Out to manage purchasing activities and ensure the timely availability of materials, tools, equipment, and supplies for our ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of maintenance and fit-out materials, established supplier networks, and excellent negotiation and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials for maintenance, renovation, and fit-out projects.
• Request, compare, and negotiate supplier quotations to obtain the best prices and quality.
• Procure electrical, plumbing, HVAC, gypsum, carpentry, painting, civil works, and other fit-out materials.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and site teams regarding material requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor material availability, stock levels, and pending deliveries.
• Verify material specifications, quantities, quotations, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Ensure purchases comply with approved budgets and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare purchasing reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of procurement experience in maintenance, fit-out, or technical services companies.
• Good knowledge of construction, MEP, maintenance, and interior fit-out materials.
• Strong supplier network within the UAE is an advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or procurement systems.
• Ability to manage urgent site requirements and multiple purchase requests.
• Must be currently based in the UAE.
