Procurement Officer-Construction

Manage day-to-day procurement activities for building materials and construction requirements. Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and delivery timelines. Prepare and issue RFQs and obtain competitive quotations. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers. Prepare quotation comparisons and purchase recommendations. Coordinate purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, delivery, and documentation. Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier information. Coordinate closely with project, warehouse, finance, and operations teams. Monitor material requirements and support timely procurement for ongoing projects. Use SAP for procurement-related transactions, records, and processes. Prepare procurement reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel . Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and approved budgets.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in procurement within the building materials or construction industry . Strong hands-on experience with SAP . Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel . Good supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management skills. Strong understanding of construction and building material procurement. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
