About the Company

Firestone Fire & Security Systems LLC is a UAE-based company specializing in fire protection, fire alarm, security, ELV, and related MEP services. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Procurement Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement process from receiving material requirements to delivery.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for fire fighting, fire alarm, ELV, electrical, mechanical, and general materials.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers until materials are received.
• Coordinate with the Projects, Maintenance, Estimation, Stores, and Accounts teams regarding material requirements.
• Ensure materials are purchased according to approved specifications and required standards.
• Follow up on urgent and project-critical materials to avoid delays at sites.
• Maintain proper procurement records, supplier quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new reliable suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Assist in maintaining updated supplier and material price databases.
• Coordinate with the warehouse/stores team for material receiving and documentation.
• Ensure procurement activities are carried out within approved budgets and company procedures.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of UAE procurement experience, preferably in Fire & Safety, MEP, ELV, or construction companies.
• Experience in sourcing fire fighting and fire alarm materials will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of UAE suppliers and local market pricing.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with Purchase Orders, quotations, comparison sheets, and supplier invoices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle multiple requirements and work under pressure.
• Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
• Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.
