Procurement Officer (Power/Water)

About the role

Power 4 All, Inc. is currently looking for a Procurement Officer to join our team. As a key contributor to the efficiency of our supply chain, the Procurement Officer oversees and manages procurement activities to ensure that materials, equipment, and services are acquired on time, at the best value, and in accordance with company policies. This role involves supervising procurement staff, coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. By providing leadership and operational oversight, the Procurement Supervisor helps maintain accurate procurement records, identify opportunities for cost savings, and support timely project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the procurement team
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with vendors to secure the best value for the company
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with the warehouse and operations teams to prevent shortages or overstock
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation accurately and on time
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and implement improvement plans where necessary
• Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and procurement reports to optimize sourcing strategies

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role preferred
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software/systems
