Procurement / Purchasing Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Source raw materials, ingredients, packaging and production supplies.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate purchasing terms within approval limits.
• Coordinate weekly ordering based on production requirements and stock availability.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
• Check received goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Record batch numbers and expiry dates, and prepare Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
• Post supplier invoices and daily batch cards in Business Central.
• Update inventory records and prepare weekly purchase reports.
• Coordinate shortages, rejected items, replacements and credit notes with suppliers and QA.
• Maintain supplier contacts, quotations and purchasing documents.
• Process intercompany POs, including 7-Eleven SG and AIKIT orders.
• Liaise with Production, QA and Finance to resolve purchasing and documentation issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Experience in food manufacturing or ingredient sourcing is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Business Central experience is an advantage.
• Able to manage daily purchasing activities with minimal supervision.
