Procurement Section Head

About the role

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from purchase requests, vendor selection and evaluation, and negotiation through to delivery. Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery in accordance with company requirements.

Key responsibilities :

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from purchase requests, vendor selection and evaluation, and negotiation through to delivery
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery in accordance with company requirements
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, payment terms, specifications, and delivery schedules
• Ensure procurement processes are carried out effectively and efficiently, in compliance with budgets, procedures, and established timelines
• Ensure the completeness of procurement documentation and the conformity of goods/services with purchase orders (POs) or contracts
• Manage pricing data and information to support procurement efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Coordinate contract administration and vendor payment processes
• Manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods to business units/projects according to schedule
• Lead, develop, and monitor the performance of the Procurement team to ensure the achievement of targets

Qualification :

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in any field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Supervisor/Team Leader in a related field
• Strong understanding of Procurement, Logistics, Vendor Management, and contract administration processes
• Experienced in tender/bidding processes, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, and managing the pricing of goods and services
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
