Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Procure materials based on production needs — balancing cost, quality, and delivery
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, favorable terms, and on-time deliveries
• Generate purchase orders through SAP and coordinate delivery schedules to support production
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to keep materials available while minimizing excess stock
• Ensure timely material availability for uninterrupted production
• Support New Product Development (NPD) through timely procurement of new materials
• Source, evaluate, and develop qualified suppliers for business continuity and cost optimization
• Prepare and maintain monthly delivery schedules, coordinating closely with suppliers
• Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
• Strong skills in strategic sourcing and negotiation
• Solid background in supplier management
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Experience in inventory and material planning
• Working knowledge of ERP/SAP systems
• Strong data and cost analysis skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Analytical thinker who's adaptable and thrives in a team environment
