Procurement Specialist

About the role

This is a procurement role responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle from requisition to supplier selection, purchase order issuance, and delivery follow-up. The role involves utilizing SAP Ariba and SAP ERP systems for procurement transactions, approvals, and reporting, and requires strong expertise in sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from requisition to supplier selection, purchase order issuance, and delivery follow-up
• Utilize SAP Ariba and SAP ERP systems for procurement transactions, approvals, and reporting
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
• Conduct market analysis and support strategic sourcing initiatives
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and business objectives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet procurement requirements and deadlines
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

• 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience

• Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP Ariba and SAP Procurement/MM modules

• Strong knowledge of sourcing, purchasing, and contract management

• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

• Preferred experience in Manufacturing, Industrial, Defence, or Aerospace sectors

• Preferred experience with global procurement or indirect purchasing exposure
