What they need
About the opportunity
Our client is looking for an experienced Parts Procurement Specialist to join its aftersales operation. This is a varied role combining purchasing, inventory management, international supply, logistics and dealer support.
You’ll work closely with their international head office, local suppliers, freight and logistics providers, ensuring parts are available when required while maintaining efficient stock levels and strong service to the Foton dealer network.
What you’ll be doing
- Procurement & supplier management – Purchase parts from local and overseas suppliers, negotiate supply arrangements and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Inventory management – Analyse stock levels, stock turn and demand, prepare monthly replenishment orders and help maximise parts availability and ROI.
- Supply chain & logistics – Coordinate sea and airfreight orders, inbound logistics, customs documentation and delivery providers.
- Dealer support – Respond to parts enquiries, assist with pricing and orders, and provide timely support to the Foton dealer network.
- Order & backorder management – Monitor outstanding supplier orders, follow up backorders and ensure efficient order fulfilment.
- Stock control & reporting – Maintain accurate inventory records, manage incoming stock and claims, and provide parts KPI reporting.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring 3-5 years experience in parts, procurement, purchasing, inventory or supply chain, with automotive, commercial vehicle, transport, machinery or a similar parts-based environment being an advantage.
You’ll be organised and commercially minded, with strong attention to detail and the confidence to deal with suppliers, logistics partners and dealers. Good systems skills and clear written and verbal communication will be important.
This role will suit someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving supply issues and making sure the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
