Position Overview

Rajtattva Importaciones is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and procurement activities. The successful candidate will help ensure that materials and products are sourced at competitive prices while meeting required quality, delivery, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select qualified domestic and international suppliers.
• Manage procurement activities from sourcing and quotation through purchase order and delivery.
• Request and compare supplier quotations, pricing, specifications, and delivery terms.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with textile manufacturers, vendors, and logistics partners.
• Monitor purchase orders, shipments, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with logistics and customs teams regarding international shipments and documentation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
• Evaluate supplier quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs and improve purchasing efficiency.
• Support inventory planning and ensure materials are available according to business requirements.
• Monitor potential supply disruptions and develop appropriate sourcing alternatives.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable Chilean import and trade requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, supplier evaluations, and purchasing forecasts.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, sales, and management teams to support procurement objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or a related position.
• Demonstrated experience managing supplier relationships and purchasing activities.
• Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills.
• Knowledge of international sourcing, purchasing, and import/export processes.
• Strong understanding of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, delivery terms, and procurement documentation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in textiles, fashion, apparel, manufacturing, or international trading.
• Experience sourcing products from South Asia or other international markets.
• Knowledge of international trade terms such as Incoterms.
• Familiarity with customs procedures, freight coordination, and import documentation.
• Experience using ERP, procurement, or supplier-management systems.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
• Professional procurement or supply-chain certification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is highly desirable for international supplier communication.
