Procurement Specialist

About the role

Procurement Specialist managing end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing, quotation, negotiation, purchase order to delivery for a food manufacturing business.

Location : Rama 4 (Nearly Lotus Rama4)

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing, quotation, negotiation, purchase order to delivery
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, capability, lead time, and service level
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and commercial conditions with suppliers
• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier database and supplier relationship
• Conduct price comparison, cost analysis, and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and ensure timely procurement
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance
• Resolve procurement-related issues such as delayed delivery, quality concerns, price discrepancies, and supplier performance
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval processes, and internal controls
• Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, supplier performance reports, and other management reports

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, or related field
• 3-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in food manufacturing, restaurants, hospitality, retail, or another stock-based business or related industries
• Experience purchasing food ingredients, packaging, labels, kitchen supplies, equipment, or maintenance items
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, particularly SAP (preferred)
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence working with overseas suppliers
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
