Procurement Specialist

MRV&CO is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Global Sourcing team in Shanghai, supporting the development of a competitive and reliable supply chain between China and Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing and procurement strategies in China.

Identify, evaluate, negotiate with and develop Chinese manufacturers and suppliers.

Lead RFQs, cost analysis and commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, MOQ and lead times.

Coordinate supplier qualification, homologation, product testing and certification for the Brazilian market.

Conduct factory visits, technical assessments and supplier audits across China.

Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, delivery and compliance.

Support international supply chain and logistics activities from China to Brazil.

Work closely with MRV’s Procurement, Engineering, Quality and Logistics teams in Brazil.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supply-chain optimization and risk mitigation.

Requirements

Chinese nationality / local Chinese candidates will be prioritized.

Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese – mandatory.

Fluent English – mandatory.

Portuguese – highly desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, International Trade or related fields.

Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain or supplier development.

Strong negotiation, analytical and supplier-management skills.

Hands-on, proactive and results-oriented profile.

Availability to travel within China for factory and supplier visits.

Experience with construction materials, industrial products, international trade or global sourcing is a plus.
