Procurement Specialist

Position: Procurement Executive / Engineer / Manager
Experience: 2–15 Years

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a relevant discipline

Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Procurement Professionals to manage material purchasing, vendor development, price negotiation, and timely supply of materials for electrical, power, and infrastructure projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of electrical materials, equipment, and project-related items as per requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices and payment terms.
• Prepare and release purchase orders as per approved requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, stores, accounts, and suppliers to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and pending supplies.
• Verify material specifications, quality requirements, and commercial terms before procurement.
• Maintain vendor databases, purchase records, invoices, and procurement documentation.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
• Resolve vendor-related issues and follow up on delayed deliveries.
• Coordinate with the finance team for payment follow-ups and vendor account reconciliation, as required.

Required Skills

• Experience in procurement and purchasing for electrical, power, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of vendor development, price negotiation, and supplier management.
• Ability to prepare comparative statements, purchase orders, and procurement reports.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, project requirements, and material specifications.
• Strong MS Excel, communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates currently working or previously employed with Pave Path Engineering & Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. or BNC Power Projects Ltd. will be preferred, subject to relevant procurement experience.
